Nervous System Disorders

Nervous system disorders are medical conditions that require monitoring and medication, because these are normally lifelong medical conditions. They are diseases like Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, Huntington’s disease, Tay Sachs disease, Fibromyalgia and other conditions.

There are also nervous system disorders that can be a secondary condition that is brought on by a disease like diabetes, which can affect the nervous system.  Many of the nervous system disorders can be debilitating, affecting the movements of the limbs, and affecting speech and in some cases even the brain. Most of these conditions do not require surgery, but will require ongoing medication and close medical monitoring to keep the condition from causing deterioration of health.
